(WARNING: NSFW LANGUAGE)
My mom and I have been having an ongoing debate lately about naughty language. Basically, she haaates it. She finds it déclassé and trashy and it hurts her ears. There's nothing that offends her more. Me, you know...I swear. Lots.
We are at an impasse.
I think this is why she doesn't really read my blog, unless prompted. Which is fine.
Let's have some links.
The Only Thing You Need To Read To Get Ready For Bikini Season
Brilliant.
The Most Deranged Sorority Girl Email You Will Ever Read
THIS BITCH BE CRAAAAAAY. I love it. I've always wondered what it would be like to be in a sorority and my guess is, exactly like this.
Clarissa Darling Vs. Sabrina Spellman: Who Comes Out On Top?
I'm going to need to figure out a way to rewatch Clarissa, it has been way too long.
Yes. Everyone should read this today.
I...I what? WHAT?! I don't even. That's sick.
I haven't said anything about the Boston bombings because, honestly, I haven't had the words. And mentioning it at the end of a silly links post seems disrespectful somehow, and at the same time trying to devote a whole post to it when I know I can't give it the weight or thought it deserves seems more offensive. Usually, I'm oddly, morbidly fascinated with tragedy, tales of grief. With Newtown, I read the news articles, absorbed the details, full of disgust for myself, but with this tragedy and the aftermath I just...I just can't yet.
So I will just link you to this wonderful post from a runner in the marathon who couldn't finish, and I will leave it at that, with a final statement of love for my country, if that was ever in doubt, and a video.
In a complete 180 from the first one, please enjoy this, which might make you cry.
That last video did bring tears to my eyes and chills through my entire body. Thank you for posting it!
