Via the rather handy dandy Google Analytics site (program? tool? thingy?), I can now tell you that as of today my blog has had over 500 unique viewers.

THAT'S LIKE A LOT. I AM SO PROUD.

After Los Angeles, (and I'm sure the majority of visits are probably, well, me, on various devices), most of my daily (not unique) visitors come from New York, San Francisco, Durham and Santa Barbara (HI BIFF!). Some from Australia, Canada and France too!

The most visitors I've ever seen on my blog at one time was five, and I felt oh so popular. I wanted to throw a party for all of us.

People spend an average of four minutes on my site, which isn't too bad, actually! They visit two pages on average, and 18% of the people who come to my blog are new visitors. My "bounce rate" is only 65%, which is the percentage of visits where people left directly from the main page, so almost nearly half of people (in Taylor troll math) click on at least one post.

Overall, I think I'm doing pretty well for just over a year of blogging. I really need to start focus on expanding my readership by reading more blogs myself, and commenting, so I become more a part of the lifestyle blogging community. That's really how I will start to get more readers, more feedback, and improve my content!

I also think I might reward myself by purchasing some ad space on some big blogs in a few months---after I get my long-awaited raise, of course. 'Cause ads are definitely not in my budget.

We have things to discuss, though. Oh, so many things. Fascinating things. Things of an administrative nature.

1) You probably didn't notice unless you're reading my blog as closely as you know, me, but I took the Lululemon pants off my reward list, and didn't explain why. Shame. Well, my ever so kind parents gave me a Lulu gift card for my birthday, and I got a head to toe new outfit! I even posted a picture of me in the outfit, but didn't mention it. For shame! It's hot as fuck, no?

2) I got business cards made for da blog. For FREEEE. I haven't decided what to DO with them yet, per se, but I will have them.

3) I updated some of the pages above, and added links to my links, Pinterest, Last.fm and Twitter (which I rarely use, but maybe I will start).

4) I made a new button! If you have your own site and wish to link to my Crazy (it deserves a capital, wouldn't you say?), here's a button, button whose got the button?

5) My secret goal for the month was 5 posts per day, every day, and I hit it. Boom. Granted, I caught up the other day with 10 posts, if you were wonder why I was so damn prolific.

A Mini Makeover

I've been feeling restless with my appearance lately.

For once, I'm not talking about my own reflection. I KNOW RIGHT. No, I'm talking about my blog appearance.

In the last few weeks I've been wanting to change it up. I did some poking around on Weebly, I thought about maybe even investing in a graphic designer as a reward at some point, but on a whim this morning I just started fucking with my template.

LOOK AT ALL THIS GORGEOUS WHITE SPACE.

Gird your loins for some other potential face lifts later this week...or sooner, maybe, if I find what I'm looking for. Maybe a new background? New colors? WHO KNOWS.

Lovin' On Blogs

In case you haven't heard, apparently Google Reader will be shutting down on July 1st. Well, unless the company listens to the legions of complainers that are all, "HEY NOW, NO!" But if they stick to their guns, the twenty two of you who follow my blog with Google Friend Connect will no longer have an easy way to read my posts.

A Weight PSA

There's something so nifty about technology.

Through the wonders of my blog's stats, I can track how people find my blog. Like, apparently someone found it the other day by Googling "how do I get rid of penis envy", which is hilarious.

But last night, someone using their Android phone, on a Verizon network, (I KNOW SO SPECIFIC BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING), searched "jlaw weight". Apparently I show up on the first page.

...really? REALLY?

Of course, this outrage is hypocrisy spewing out of my big ole booty (ew?),'cause I untaped my elephant and weighed myself today. 

Shh. It made me very happy.

EVEN THOUGH THE NUMBER IS IRRELEPHANT.

Brain Freeze

I really need to start carrying a little moleskin notebook around in my purse like a pretentious poet or ironic hipster. I sweat to you I've thought of half a dozen different post ideas over the last few days and I think to myself, "That's a good idea!" and then once I actually sit down at my computer I totally forget what my idea was. Brain freeze.

Harrumph.

In related news, I am slowly paring down the draft folder on my blog. It usually hovers around 40-45 and I have it down to 30. That's mighty impressive, I have to say. If you;re curious, any time there's a random post that's super long with lots of gifs, I've probably been working on it for weeks.

I guess this has become a blog admin post. Well, that's nice! Always good to check in.

1) Averaging 4-5 posts this month, which has been my standard for the last few. I'm pretty impressed with myself. I'm just so awesome.
2) Also, quite egotistical, no?
3) I really want to start writing more posts that stand on their own, as opposed to just constantly talking about myself. Not that I'm not fascinating. But you know...I should write about, you know...the world. Or shit like that.
4) I also need to get back to my fashion posts. I just haven't, well...wanted to take pictures of myself.

Home At Last

I do not like when I wake up and the ever-present hair tie on my wrist (seen in every photograph taken of me ever) has rolled up my chubby arm to the point where it has been cutting off my circulation for lord knows how long and will remained indented for a good few hours now.

But that small inconvenience matters not. First of all, it's the freaking weekend. CHEERS. So there's that.

I am actually as happy as a clam right now. That is, if that clam had no fear of being made into delicious chowder. Last night, I registered my domain name, and I now have a home at:
