Medical Dreamland

I can't remember if I've mentioned that Therapist #2, She Who Prescribes Me Drugs, switched my medication about a month ago. Don't really remember, because I'm not going into too many specifics about my actual medication regimen---what works for me might not for someone else, so you don't need to know what pills I'm actually poppin', ya know what I'm sayin'?

Fo sho.

Anyway, so I've been on these new pills for about four weeks now, and here's the thing: for the first time in years, I am remember my dreams almost every single night.

It's so trippy.

It's like I'm developing this entire alternate life. Sure, I would occasionally remember dreams, but it was a rare event, worth discussing and analyzing. But now almost every morning I wake up remember things from the night before, some mundane and not worth a second look, some absolutely ridiculous and baffling, torn from the weirdest depths of my psyche. I go throughout my day and different dreams make themselves known throughout the course of it, memories reappearing.

I wonder which pill it is? I have two new ones. Or is it the combination? Don't know, don't care, I'm feeling great and I don't mind the dreams.

It's just so trippy.

  1. do you ever wonder ... when you are awake you are actually dreaming? and when you're dreaming you're actually awake? I use to think about that ALL the time when I was younger. :P

    1. I used to always wonder that as a kid! If so, this is a really weird world I'm living in...
